Delete your CommentCoder account

You can request deletion of your CommentCoder account and associated data in the Application or by email. This page is available without signing in.

In the Application

1. Open CommentCoder.
2. Sign in to your account.
3. Open the Profile tab.
4. Open settings.
5. Select “Delete my account”.
6. Confirm deletion.

Without access to the Application

Send a request from the email address associated with your account to [email protected], with the subject “Delete my CommentCoder account”.

Your request is processed within 30 days of receipt.

Deleting specific data

You can delete some data without deleting your account. In your CommentCoder settings, select “Reset my progress” to delete learning progress, results, attempts, XP and badges while keeping your account.

To request deletion of other specific data, email [email protected] from the address associated with your account and specify the data concerned.

Data deleted

• Account, email address and profile.
• Progress, XP, badges and results.
• Favourites and saved mistakes.
• Preferences and links to social accounts.
• Learning history and usage data associated with the account.

Removing links to social accounts does not delete your accounts with those services.

Data that may be retained

• Billing data needed for accounting and legal obligations, for the applicable statutory period depending on the document.
• Technical logs needed for security, for up to 90 days after account deletion.
• Data in backups until rotation, for up to 90 days after account deletion.
• Data held separately by Google Play or RevenueCat, under their own obligations and retention periods.

Google Play subscriptions

Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active Google Play subscription. You must also cancel your subscription in Google Play under “Payments and subscriptions”, then “Subscriptions”.
